We purchased our home in Shell Knob in 1978.  Through the years we improved and updated the property, but when we were ready for our first major addition, we contracted with W. Oswald Construction to build a covered, screened deck in 1992.  We were impressed with the quality of construction, the workmanship and the honesty of Mr. Oswald.  When we decided to completely remodel and add an addition to our home, we contacted Eric Oswald for an estimate of the project.  After visiting with Eric and looking at some of his work, we knew that he was carrying on his father’s tradition as a quality builder. The three months of construction proved to be a pleasant experience for us.  The project was completed on schedule, cost of the remodel was close to the estimate and the quality of work was outstanding.  We are very satisfied and proud of our new home.  Eric C. Oswald Construction is an asset to the Shell Knob community.

I had recently built a home and did all of the contracting myself.  It was something of a nightmare.  I needed some finish work done but was a bit gun shy at that point.  I knew that a friend had just had some remodeling done, and she had high standards, so I asked her if she could recommend someone.  She didn’t hesitate when she named Eric Oswald.  When I met Eric, he was professional, he listened, and he wanted to get it right.  If I wanted something done that wasn’t well thought out, he explained why doing it a different way would be better in the long run - less expensive, would hold up better, would be more efficient.  When I was ready to finish my basement, I called Eric again.  He did a beautiful job, he stayed with it until the work was done, and I was surprised at how reasonable the cost was.  If I ever build another house, Eric will be my builder.

Over the past seven years, Eric Oswald has completed numerous projects for my wife and I as well as my parents.  Recently, he has restored, re-roofed and painted our 100 year old church which is now the Old Church gallery in Old Shell Knob.  He also constructed our handicap ramp and front porch on the Gallery, and built three display cases in our shop.

His workmanship is exceptional, and he conducts business in a friendly and professional manner.  I know we will continue to use his services for the many projects that come up, and I highly recommend him to every one.
